Please note that shipment delays will be experienced within our warehouse packing and dispatch operations due to warehouse system updates and changes as well as due to COVID restrictions at shipping partners. Hobby Warehouse presently provides a flat rate simple shipping structure based on the number of items you purchase, whereby products are shipped according to their weight or size only. During checkout a number of delivery options will be made available to you depending on how our system categorises the final expected carton, plus your delivery location. For example if you are overseas, you will have a number of options made available depending on order value, weight and size - including express delivery options. Within Australia you shall have a number of options also, with an estimate of delivery timeframe - including same day delivery options depending on your location.
Items that are large or heavy can only be transported using road freight methods and sometimes attract a higher expense depending on location. This will be therefore be indicated during checkout.
Most orders are dispatched within the specified number of business day of cleared payment unless specified otherwise. If there is a problem with the processing of your order, we shall be in contact with you via email or telephone.
The period of the delivery time will depend on your selected shipping method, the item size and delivery destination.
Please note that some lower cost options may not have tracking information, for example Airmail or other standard services. In all circumstances we require a signature upon delivery, and therefore we highly recommend that you have your order delivered to a location where someone will be present to receive and sign for your item - for example at work if you are not home during the day.
During checkout you have the ability to choose whether or not you would like to receive SMS updates (presently available to Australian mobiles only). We may also send you an SMS if your email bounces, just to let you know there was a typo in your order details! Tracking information is sent only at the end of the day, in order to ensure manifest information has been received by the carrier prior to transmitting the information to you - even though your order is likely to have been packed hours prior.
