The EXPLORER II Short Course Truck is a 1/8 Scale Brushless Motor and Li-Po Battery powered weapon. With all the durability and ruggedness of their large scale vehicles and the scintillating acceleration of a high torque electric motor the EXPLORER II is one exciting machine.

Outstanding Performance

Motivation for the EXPLORER II comes from a powerful Brushless 2350KV motor which transfers is power to all 4 wheels through a center, front and rear differential system. This system transfers power to each wheel with authority and allows the driver to maintain full control even at high speed over just about any terrain.

Powerful ESC

The 120A Waterproof Brushless Electronic Speed Controller supplies current to the motor and on-board electronics with authority and is kept cool by a built in fan. Providing proportional forward and reverse acceleration along with correctly matched brake force, this ESC generates smooth and reliable operation.

High Energy Lithium Polymer Battery

The supplied powerful Hard Case 14.8V 5000mAh Li-PO Battery feeds this beast with as much current as the Motor and ESC will ever need to generate outsatnding driving performance together with realistic operational times.

High Torque Steering Servo

Steering duties are commanded by a KM-2013 20kg "High Torque" steering servo. The servo is also protected from heavy shock loads that can be amplified through the steering components while operating in harsh terrain by a unique "Servo Saver" system. A special spring loaded joint is incorporated into the steering system which helps dampen severe jarring to the servo and helps extend its longevity.

Adjustable Suspension

All 4 shock absorbers on this model are fully adjustable and allow the operator to dial in the suspension to suit the type of terrain they want to operate on. Simply turn the adjustment nut on the shock body and you can apply more pre-load to the spring, firmer for a smooth surface to reduce body roll or softer for rugged off road environments where you need all the suspension travel you can get.

2.4GHz Digital Radio Transmitter System

The KM EXPLORER II is supplied with a quality HSP 2.4GHz 3 Channel digital radio system, which means you can run multiple vehicles utilizing the same system without interference at the same time.
