The North American Aviation P-51D fighter aircraft is a single-seat, low wing monoplane powered by a 12 cylinder V-1650-7 liquid cooled, Packard built Rolls Royce "Merlin" engine producing an amazing 1490 horsepower. The engine is equipped with a two-speed, two-stage supercharger and an automatic manifold pressure regulator. The engine spins a four blade Hamilton Standard Hydromatic constant speed propeller. The P-51D was a multi role fighter employed by a number of allied countries during the Second World War.

This version of the Dynam P51 is supplied with a 6 Channel Gavin 6C Digital Radio System that also includes a 7 channel receiver. The transmitter is fully programmable through the inbuilt LED screen and is suitable for airplane, helicopter, and multi-rotor applications.
With a memory that can store up to 30 aircraft setups, the Gavin 6C caters from trainers through to intermediate aircraft applications.
