Super realistic and high detailed laser cut jungle leaves. These plants are perfect to add a final touch of realism to your dioramas, vignettes, vehicles, figures, model railway scenery, etc. Their size makes them optimum to model kit and miniature scales 1/48, 1/35 and 1/32 plus O, On30 and Gauge 1 railways.
Quick Tip Steps:
Working with laser-cut plants is easier than you think. Other than the leaf set itself, we will only need a knife, tweezers, glue and a toothpick with rounded tips.
First of all, we will cut the attachment points between leaf and sprue with a sharp knife.
Once done, we carefully remove the leaf from the sprue using tweezers.
A natural curve is now added to the paper plant by repeatedly rolling a toothpick or a round hobby knife handle over it.
Here you can see several plants of different sizes. We have varied the force applied while pressing them down to create distinct shapes for each one.
The tip of the toothpick is used to press the stem of the leaf downward, towards the connection point with the branch. This adds a more 3D appearance to the paper parts.
More examples - after these simple steps are complete, they show more natural-looking shapes.
The last step is to attach the branches using CA and white glue. They are fixed in place following a natural growth pattern, from the largest to the smallest.
& 10: Here you can see various examples of realistic foliage, already finished and glued to the groundwork.
